The Emrick Center is the new home of the National Canal Museum.  Built in 2006 thanks to a generous donation from local resident Mrs. Elaine Emrick  in memory of her husband Peter, the 14,000-square-foot two-story brick building  now houses the Canal Museum's exhibits, offices,  and state-of-the-art archives and library.  The offices of the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor are also located on the second floor of the building.
