Choose one of the following themes for your birthday party
Be a Blacksmith – Learn all the tricks about blacksmithing and take home an “S” hook you make Each child gets a mule shoe to take home.
Gone Fishin’ – Fish just like 19th century children with a rod and string. Learn about the fish and creatures in the Lehigh Canal and River.
Lucet Bee – 19th century children and women got together and would have sewing bees and we are going to use a Lucet a popular craft tool in the Victorian Era to make a craft.
Tag! Your It! Play 19th century games like fox and geese, blind mans bluff, play quoits, have 3 legged races, and make a toy to take home
Wild & Wet – get in the creek and study bugs. What really lives in the river. Find out during this birthday party option
Option #2 $95 NCM members / $100 non-members
2-1/2 hour party - choose a theme from above
1-1/2 hours for instruction and craft
1 hour for birthday party
10 Children plus 2 adults (additional children $3.00 each)
All food, paper products, and supervision are provided by the birthday party adults
40 minute ride on the canal boat ride
The birthday child receives a free canal boat ride
All other birthday party goers pay extra
You will go on the regular public ride
Option #3 - $245 NCM members / $250 non-members
2-1/2 hour party on a canal boat ride
1-1/2 hours for activities such as games, crafts, demonstrations
1 hour for birthday party
10 Children plus 2 adults (additional children $5.00 each)
All food, paper products, and supervision are provided by the birthday party adults
