SUMMARY:Canal Boat Walk-Along
DESCRIPTION:\n\nCome and walk along with mules\, Hank and George\, and thei
 r mule drivers as we take the Josiah White II canal boat out for training 
 runs in Hugh Moore Park at noon and 1:00pm.  While we're not yet ready to
  take passengers onboard for rides\, you can stretch your legs on the towp
 ath for all or part of the 45-minute journey.  Along the way\, our crew w
 ill regale you with tales of what it's like to be a mule driver\, both tod
 ay and in the past.  The mules walk at a leisurely pace of 2 mph and the 
 total distance covered is about half a mile\, so this walk is appropriate 
 for children and adults.  The walk starts and ends at the canal boat dock
  near the Welcome Center.
