DESCRIPTION:Discover Hugh Moore Park’s fascinating past as an industrial 
 and transportation mecca in the 19th and early 20th centuries during two o
 ne-hour\, guided walking tours – From Water to Iron.  The 1:00pm “Wat
 er” tour will take walkers along the Lehigh River to the locktender’s 
 house and then back along the canal\, highlighting how these bodies of wat
 er helped to spur America’s Industrial Revolution.  At 2:15pm\, the sto
 ry continues as participants on the “Iron” walk explore the remnants o
 f the Glendon Iron Works and learn about the other industries that once ma
 de their home along Section 8 of the Lehigh Canal.\n\nThe walks are $5 eac
 h and leave from the National Canal Museum. Group sizes will be limited to
  10 people.  Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.  Participants mu
 st have masks with them\, but are only required to wear them during tour s
 tops.  Tours will be cancelled for rain or other inclement weather.
