 de too![/caption]\n\nThe National Canal Museum is celebrating our nation's
  independence by offering veterans free admission on the 4th of July.  As
  a Blue Star Museum\, active military members and their families are alrea
 dy free throughout the summer.\n\nBy the way\, Hugh Moore Park is a great 
 place for a July 4th picnic.  There are picnic tables scattered throughou
 t the park for your use.  For friends and family who aren't into history\
 , there's plenty of other fun stuff in the park including the dog park\, b
 ike skills course\, geocaches and even Pokemon!  If it's a hot one\, ther
 e's a selection of cold drinks and ice cream in the Welcome Center to keep
  you cool.  Just no fireworks please - they scare the mules.\n\n&nbsp\;
