DESCRIPTION:\n\nCheck out our region’s wealth of history in August!  The
  National Canal Museum is part of a growing partnership of museums and his
 torical societies in our area called Lehigh Valley Passport to History.  
 In August\, many of these sites will be open for free on select weekends (
 special activities may have additional fees).  To kick-off the festivitie
 s\, the National Canal Museum will be participating on Saturday\, August 7
  from 11:30-4:30.  Admission to the museum will be free and boat rides wi
