DESCRIPTION:Come spend the afternoon at the National Canal Museum!  Our bo
 at rides might be done for the day\, but there's still fun to be had.\n\nM
 eet the Mules!\nCome and meet Hank and George\, the mules that pull the Jo
 siah White II canal boat.  The mules will be out in their corral frolicki
 ng and eating grass from 2:30-4:00 PM.  One of our canal boat crew member
 s will be on-hand (under the maroon D&amp\;L tent) to share why mules are 
 such incredible animals and the important role they played in the history 
 of canals.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nTalks at the Dock\nWhy is there a canal here? W
 ho worked on the canals?  Did canal moms really tie their toddlers to the
  boat?  All these questions and more will be answered during 30-minute ta
 lks aboard our canal boat\, the Josiah White II\, at 2:00 and 3:00 PM. A 
 member of the canal boat crew will use the backdrop of the boat to take yo
 u back to a time when families lived and worked aboard canal boats plying 
 the waters of the Lehigh Canal.\n\nThese activities are included in the pr
 ice of museum admission.
