DESCRIPTION:Trail Hike: “D&amp\;L Trail North from Jim Thorpe to Glen Ono
 ko”\nSunday\,  November 14\n10 am\, parking lot behind the train statio
 n\n\nJoin the D&amp\;L and historian Vince Hydro for an on-the-ground expl
 oration along the Lehigh River from Jim Thorpe to Glen Onoko. On this roug
 hly 4 mile trek we will locate\, explore and discuss many landmarks from o
 ur industrial past. Some of the highlights are where the Switchback Railro
 ad chutes once were\, Lock no. 1 of the Upper Division of the Lehigh Canal
 \, the coal pockets for Room Run Railroad\, the site of the village of Lau
 sanne. We will also cross the Coalport trestle bridge and visit the ruins 
 of Lock 2 of the Upper Navigation amongst other sites. Come and join us on
  the last walk of the season. \n\nLength: 4 - 5 miles\nDifficulty: Easy t
 o moderate\n\nParking and Meet up location: We are meeting in Jim Thorpe i
 n the parking lot behind the Jim ThorpeTrain Station.  \n\nNote: All par
 king in Jim Thorpe is now by kiosk\, please allow enough time to find a ki
