Sunday Strolls Through History
June 19, 2022 – African-American History Walk
3:00 – 5:00 PM
In honor of Juneteenth, join the D&L for a guided walking tour along the Delaware Canal to learn about black history in the region, the Underground Railroad, and stories of black canal workers. Walk starts and ends at Tinicum Park, Erwinna, PA and will cover approx. 2.7 miles of flat terrain at a leisurely pace. Rain date: June 26th. Cost: $10 per person (10% off for D&L Members)
August 21, 2022 – Geology History Bike Ride
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
On Sunday August 21st at 10 am, join D&L educator Jeff Mucklin on a 4-mile bike ride along the Saucon Rail Trail. This ride should take about 2 hours. There is a 15-person cap on the group and the event is BYOBH (bring your own bike & helmet). For more information click here
