Paddle or Pedal Along a Historic Canal!

There are more than two miles of the placid, fully restored Lehigh Canal in Hugh Moore Park, located alongside the D&L Trail. Explore the canal and D&L Trail on a paddleboat, canoe, kayak or bike available for rent next to the dock of the Josiah White II canal boat. Staff inside the Welcome Center will help you choose the right craft or bike and assist you with getting underway. Life jackets and helmets are available for children and adults.

Bike and Boat Rentals are available on museum open days from 11:30am to 4:30pm between June 4 and November 2, 2025.  Rentals must be returned by 4:30pm.

Rates for Paddleboats:

One Hour: $15.00
Half Hour: $10.00

Rates for Canoes & Kayaks:

One Hour: $10.00

Rates for Bikes:

One Hour Adult: $10.00
One Hour Child: $7.00

Per Day Adult: $30.00 (Return by 4:30 pm.)
Per Day Child: $20.00 (Return by 4:30 pm.)

*You must be 18 years or older to rent a bike or boat. Persons younger than 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.
**A driver’s license or other official photo ID is required for rentals.
