Notice: Reduced 2026 Schedule

Due to planned construction on the Glendon Hill Road Bridge, the National Canal Museum will operate on a shortened schedule this year. Our 2026 season will be open from Friday, March 27 through the end of May. Public canal boat rides will not be offered during the 2026 season.

Birds, Bees & Butterflies

Come learn about pollinators and the important role they play in our lives while exploring Hugh Moore Park’s new pollinator gardens.  Sue Tantsits, horticulturalist from Edge of the Woods Native Nursery, will be giving talks about pollinators and native plants at 12:30 and 2:30.  There will also be pollinator-themed crafts and activities throughout the day.
