Wine-Tasting Cruise with Sand Castle Winery

History, Dinner, Entertainment, Lock Experience – Cost $50 per person

Sand Castle Winery owner, Joe Maxian, returns for an encore performance of last year’s sell-out cruise that left passengers in awe of the “nectar of the gods” grown at Maxian’s expansive winery in Erwinna, Bucks County. Joe will introduce passengers to his finest products and Culinary Experts of Allentown will provide food pairings for each of Joe’s selections. Musician Dave Matsinko will provide the evening’s music. Everyone receives a complimentary wine glass. This cruise sells out quickly, so make your reservations early.

This cruise will include a lift lock experience in Lock 47 at the lower end of the canal in Hugh Moore Park.  You’ll experience how canal boats were lowered and raised in the old days as they traveled from one section of the canal to another.
