This year marks the 250th anniversary of the discovery of Anthracite in northeastern Pennsylvania. We are celebrating the men and women of our Anthracite Coal Region who helped fuel America’s 19th Century Industrial Revolution. Chester Kulesa, former site administrator for the Anthracite Heritage Museum, will regale us with stories of coal miners past and present. Jay Smar will then entertain with songs from the region. A delicious dinner will be provided by Culinary Experts.
This 2 1/2 hour cruise includes a lock experience. BYOB wine and beer.
