Treat Dad to a Day on the Canal!
We’re celebrating Father’s Day at the National Canal Museum by offering dads free admission to the museum and canal boat ride with another paid admission. Canal boats on the Lehigh and Delaware Canals in the 19th century were mostly run by families and the father was usually at the tiller steering the boat for up to 18 hours a day. In honor of those hardworking dads, there’ll also be the opportunity to try on some 19th century-style duds and snap a photo at the tiller of our canal boat, the Josiah White II.
Museum and Welcome Center Hours are 11:30am-4:30pm
Canal Boat Rides are at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 & 3:00 (weather permitting)
