Notice: Reduced 2026 Schedule

Due to planned construction on the Glendon Hill Road Bridge, the National Canal Museum will operate on a shortened schedule this year. Our 2026 season will be open from Friday, March 27 through the end of May. Public canal boat rides will not be offered during the 2026 season.

Father’s Day Special: Father’s Ride Free on the Josiah White II!

All Dads are captains for the day at the National Canal Museum on Father’s Day.  Fathers receive free admission to the museum, including a ride on our mule-drawn canal boat, with the purchase of another paid admission. Bring the whole family and enjoy a great day out at Hugh Moore Park. Tickets can be purchased on site at the museum, which will be open from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm, with canal boat rides at noon, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 3:00 pm.
