Due to planned construction on the Glendon Hill Road Bridge, the National Canal Museum will operate on a shortened schedule this year. Our 2026 season will run from Friday, March 27 through the end of May. Public canal boat rides will not be offered during the 2026 season.

Event Type

Discover Hugh Moore Park’s fascinating past during a one-hour, guided walking tour along the Lehigh River and Canal, highlighting how they helped to spur America’s Industrial Revolution. Participants will learn about the park’s flora and fauna, the locktender’s house, and Island Park. Fee: $5 (free for D&L Members). Masks are required and tours will be limited to 10 people.
