Kids on the Canal – Pirate Day

Ahoy, me hearties!  Visit the National Canal Museum for a swashbuckling adventure during this month’s Kids on the Canal event – Pirate Day.  We’re excited to have the Bachmann Players join our crew this year to lead rousing sea shanty singalongs aboard the canal boat rides.  And since everyone is short-handed this year, competing pirate captains will be trying to woo you into their service.  You’ll learn about some real-life female pirates and get a sign-on bonus too!  Other activities include testing your pirate skills in our obstacle course and discovering the secrets of Captain Peg-Toe’s treasure map on a scavenger hunt through the park.  Fun for scallywags of all ages. All activities are included with museum admission.  Wear your best pirate gear and get 50% off your admission price.  Our monthly Kids on the Canal events are free with museum admission.  Come for one or all!
