To celebrate the opening of the exhibition Frank Wyso: The Coal Connection at the National Canal Museum, Steven Lichak of the Wyso Foundation will give at talk at 1pm on the creative works and eccentric life of folk artist Frank “Wyso” Wysochansky. Over his prolific career, Wyso created over 5,000 works of art ranging from pen and ink drawings to sculptures made from Bondo! Many of his works drew inspiration from the coal mining regions of Northeastern PA and the communities who lived there.
The talk is free with museum admission.
