Tell Us Her Story

National Canal Museum - Tell Us Her Story

Help us save and celebrate the history of women in our area!

The National Canal Museum’s new exhibit will highlight the history of industrial women in the D&L corridor. We are looking for pictures of women who lived and worked in the corridor making things in factories. If you or a female family member worked in places like, Dixie, Western Electric, in the cigar or silk mills, or any of the other industry in the 5 counties of the D&L — Luzerne, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, or Bucks — we want to hear from you!

Submission may be put in a slide show that will be part of the exhibit.
