It’s National Pollinator Week and the National Canal Museum is celebrating the critical role that pollinators and native plants play in our ecosystem. Check out our three pollinator gardens near the museum and learn about the different kinds of pollinators including birds, bees, and butterflies. Easton City Forester Rob Christopher, who planted the pollinator gardens, will be on hand on Friday to talk about native plant gardening (11:30-1:30). On Saturday (11:30-4:30), 4-H Agent Alayne Torretta will lead demonstrations about bees. Both days will also include kid-friendly pollinator crafts. All pollinator activities are free.
