Canal Life Talks on the Boat

When

09/19/2020
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Where

National Canal Museum
2750 Hugh Moore Park Road, Easton, PA, 18042

Event Type

Why is there a canal here?  Who worked on canals?  Did canal moms really tie their toddlers to the boat?

All these questions and more will be answered during 30-minute talks aboard our canal boat, the Josiah White II at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00pm.  While we’re not yet ready to take visitors for canal boat rides, a member of the canal boat crew will use the backdrop of the boat to take you back to a time when families lived and worked aboard canal boats plying the waters of the Lehigh Canal.

Included in the price of museum admission.
